Ingredients for 1 serving
500g peeled chestnuts,
2 teaspoons vanilla powder,
100ml tap water,
500g honey Wernet's blossom honey
Preparation:
The chestnuts in a little tap water about 20min. braise.
Drain off the tap water and puree the chestnuts.
Mix vanilla powder, honey and tap water and pour over the chestnut puree.
Leave to stand for 24 hours with the lid closed.
Bring the chestnut puree and liquid to a boil in a high saucepan while stirring.
Turn the temperature down and let it simmer for another 20 minutes, stirring several times.
Pour the still hot jam into jars, seal immediately and allow to cool.
